Ultrafiltration

UF is a membrane separation process that removes suspended solids, bacteria, most viruses, endotoxins and other pathogens to produce water with high purity and low silt density. The membranes can consist of flat sheets or lumens of hollow fibres.

These systems serve as pre-treatment for water sources such as surface water, seawater, brackish water and biologically treated effluent.
